- Make a new image ? any size. (File > New > Image)

- Make black your foreground color and white your background color. (This will be the default if you didn?t change the colors on your copy of Adobe Photoshop yet.)

- Press Alt + Backspace and the entire image should turn black. (Yes, the canvas stays gray.)

- Now, reverse the colors using the

key. Now, your foreground color should be white and your background color should be black like this:

- Create text in white. Choose any font. Center it by using the

cursor tool. Drag it to the center. (Make sure you?re in the right layer.)

- Press Ctrl on your keyboard and

layers palette here:

- This will select that text.

- Now, go to channels in the layers palette.

- Click on the ?Save selection as channel?. (This:

- Double click Alpha 1 and rename Neon Glow.

- Press Ctrl + D to deselect.

- Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur

- Set the radius to 2.5.

- Press OK.

- Reselect it. (Ctrl +

- Go back to layers on the layers palette.

- Make the text invisible so that all you have is the marching ants.

- Create a new layer.

- Stroke your text. (Edit > Stroke > Pick a color of your stroke (other than white) > Outside > OK)

and you will get this:

- Repeat for the inside.

- Repeat for center, but with white so that you?ll get this:

- Double click on ?Layer 1?

- Check outer glow. Make sure it?s highlighted in blue.

- Make the color the same color as your text border.

- Change the size to 49.

- Press OK. There?s your text! If you?d like to go ahead and create a border around it, keep reading!

- Create a new layer. (Layer > New Layer)
- Use the elliptical tool (can be found by right clicking on the square selection tool.)

to create a circle or an oval rite over the word(s).

- Now, you see the marching ants.

- Repeat the stroking steps, but choose a different color this time.

- Create the glow from the outer glow as instructed above.

- Edit the spread to 18 and the size to 14.d

- Press OK.

- Use the Eraser tool

and erase the parts of that elliptical covering the text VERY carefully. Your final product should look like this: Other info:
