Dreamy Effect
If you want your photo to look soft and elegant like those professional photos, you might want to try this Dreamy Effect.- First open your photo.
Duplicate the background layer by pressing Ctrl + J.
Now set your new layer's blending mode in the Layers palette to 'overlay'.
Now go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur and choose a radius somewhere around 2.0 and 4.0 pixels.
Now you have finished! This is what I got:
