Hey Jesse Neo!
I really like this boy at my school and I mean, REALLY like him! I wanted to know if he likes me because my friends kept telling me that he does, but when I ask him he just doesn't answer. I even wrote a note to him asking if he liked me and then putting ?Yes? or ?No? on it. I said to just choose an answer, but he gave the note back to me with ?No? circled and 'shrug' written on it. He then said, 'You said to choose an answer, so I got confused?. I think because my friend was looking at the note too, so I think he doesn't want to get embarrassed.
This week someone told me that she thinks he likes another girl, so I got really sad and mad at him. I started saying that I hate him randomly at lunch, but I knew that was a dumb thing of me to do if I really wanted to go out with him. Anyways, then someone else told me he didn't like that girl so now I'm so confused! I made a few people to ask him if he liked me and he said that he doesn't know because people are always asking him, so I don't know if I still have a chance with him!
He stares at me during classes, but he never seems to talk to me. I need some advice on if he likes me and if I have a chance with him! I know that I need to ask him myself, but he just never answers me and he walks away!

Dear Sheldon,
The problem seems to be the boy is in a tough situation right now - he doesn't know which one to choose and even if he does chooses one, what is he to do afterwards?
My advice is to instead of concentrating on being in love with him, just be his friends. When you get close to him, ask him stuff about his life. Don't jump into asking him if he likes you because even to me, that is a bit extreme, especially if it is from someone I don't talk to that much.
Just give him time, and don't be afraid for him to make mistake (such as asking another girl out) because I can almost guarantee you that they will break up really fast. If you really like him, just be friendly to him. Sit next to him at class, ask him questions about your work, hang out with him at lunch and maybe even invite him to the movies with a group of friends. Slowly as he gets to know you, he will have made up his mind and finds it comfortable enough to decide if he likes you or not.
If you would want more advice or hope to stay in contact with me, feel free to add me on MySpace and/or Facebook and/or Twitter! Just hit me up a message or comment anytime! I promise to reply to them all!
Best regards,
-Jesse Neo
