My Friend's Crush Likes Me Instead

I have a huge problem. My BFF, Ali, has a crush on this guy that's also her friend. She started being mean to me because it turned out that guy likes me! I told him that I didn't like him and maybe he should date Ali.

He stepped close to me and said, "I don't want anyone else," and kissed me!

Ali happened to be walking by and saw us. She yelled at me and called me a bad friend. She ran off and told the guy that I like that I have a crush on him. He started flirting with me but when we're around his friends, he acted all mean. I like him a lot and I want to make out with him but at the same time, I want to punch him in the face!

Please help me!

There are a lot of guys in this world. Just because one rejected you doesn't mean the rest will too. If you look on the bright side, the rejection may have saved you from the pain of a break up if the relationship did go well.

For now, enjoy being single and mingle with boys you see. Take care of yourself and remember that life is not all about having a boyfriend.

You can't decide who you like. I don't blame your friend's crush for liking you. My advice is for you to be even with your friend because, as I can see, she is jealous. Perhaps you could introduce her to another boy? Convincing her that there will be another guy perfect for her may be a good idea too.

And yes, boys can be difficult. They are in love with you but in the same time, they won't sacrifice their reputation to be with you. This is a very common problem so don't be too saddened by it. One day he will realise what it means to be in love with a person, which involves committing themselves truly to you, but before that happens, you need to give him time.
