LOVE WRECKING FRIENDSHIP

This guy likes me and asked me out! I've known him since the beginning of the school year. My friend likes him too but only as a brother and he does like her kind of like that too, but me and her have known each other for six years and if I say yes, wouldn't that be like breaking the girl code? What if I end up spending more time with him and we had plans one night and I blew it off to be with him because I forgot? She will get mad at me and mess up our friendship.

Being in a relationship is a form of commitment. Though whoever you?re going out with is important, friends are important too! Instead of seeing the guy you like as a separate thing from your friend, why don't you all hang out together? You can also hang out with the guy's friends and ask your friend to join too. This may even let her find a boyfriend!

Yes, there are times for you and your boyfriend to be alone, but that can happen any time ? perhaps on a special date, specially designed for you and him! If you know it will be a time that will clash into your usual friendship hangouts, why don't you find some times where you usually don't do anything and go out on that day? That would make your days more interesting now that those boring days are cut short!
