Liking My Best Friend?s Cousin

I really like this boy but I?m in year 7 and he?s in year 8. I?ve never spoken to him but it?s almost as if I?m talking to him just by us looking into each other?s eyes. He?s my best friend?s cousin and she keeps telling me that I should ask him out but if he says no, I?ll have a dreadful breakdown, believe me, it?s happened before. I could literally die for the chance to go out with him but I?m so scared, please help, tell me what I should do!

Dear Katie,

If he said no, it?s time to move on. If you can?t, you need to convince him that you really like him. Talking and socializing with him more is a great start, and maybe by doing so, you?ll be able to get to know him better and discovers something you don?t like about him.
