HOW TO PRAY

Hey Jesse Neo!

I had this Math test at school a few days ago and I am not really good at this subject. Then one of my friend prayed for me and today when I got my report I got an A+! I am very interested in praying now! Can you teach me how to pray? I am not a Christian or go to church or anything so I don't know.

Dear Janet,

Praying is like the bread for Christians. It is praying that keep Christians holding onto their faith stronger, forming a closer to God, and the way that Christian should live. Praying is actually very easy! It is convenient, easy, simple, and 100% confidential!

Before knowing how to pray you must first understand that praying is like sending a message to God. How do you talk to your friends on the phone or when emailing? That is basically the same with praying. Ask Him questions, tell Him about your day, ask Him to give you wisdom, seek him for help, or anything else. The possibilities are endless.

You may first believe that to pray you must close your eyes. This is true but it is not essential. The reason why people close their eyes is to not be distracted, so if you feel more comfortable with your eyes opened, you do that. First direct the name of the person you want to pray to. Saying something like "Dear God" or "Our heavenly Father" and then start the message of what you want to say in the prayer. Then finally the most important part, you must end the prayer with "In Jesus' name, amen." It is the using of Jesus' name that your prayer would go through because that is how Jesus Christ himself taught us how to pray.

A reminder that you must be patient. God knows everything about you, even before you prayed he knew what you were going to say. Your prayer WILL be answered! And bless your friend that prayed for you! She must really cares for you!
