HAVING A FLIRTY BOYFRIEND

I'm in 7th grade and I go to an awesome middle school. I like this guy that is an 8th grader. I think he's into the flirty type and I'm not flirty. What do i do?

Dear Eileen,

You may not be a flirty type but things may change. You are still very young and you will never know what to expect in the future. For now, if you really like this guy, just hang out with him and be his friends. Do whatever that seems normal to you, and maybe as time pass, you?ll start flirting too! It is actually very fun - the secret of it is to be yourself and stop being so shy.

But that's okay if he is flirty and you are not. After all, opposites attract! So maybe you not being a flirty type is a good thing!
