CONVINCE PARENTS TO SWITCH SCHOOL

I want to switch schools really badly because I have friends at the other school. My parents won't let me because it's too far away, plus my ex goes to that school and I have many haters because of him. How do I convince my parents to let me go?

Dear Tina,

I understand you really want to change schools but if it is too far away, it is better to just stay at your current school if all you're missing on are best friends. The truth is anyone can be your best friend. What I think you should do is to socialize more at your current school, build strong bonds together and hang out with your friends from the other schools during the weekends or holidays. By doing this, you would be able to tell your friends about your school and have interesting conversations!

But if you still get the urge to switch school maybe you could consider working something out with your friends or someone else from that school that can fix the distance problems. My strongest suggestion is still for you to stay at your current school! You're still really young and there is still many things for you to explore - so during this time, try to make as much friends as possible and enjoy what you have!
