Confused About Guy I Met Online

This guy I am in love with is someone I met online! I am Indian and he's American. Even our age differs. He's 21 and I am 17. He is working and a student in a boarding school. We chatted, became friends and soon felt that we were falling for each other. Suddenly we paired-up! We were going steady for a while and getting really close but then he asked me to break up because he is busy settling his career and according to him, long distance relationship don?t work. He's asking my friends to take care of me and to make me understand that he is not the correct guy for me, and I?m so confused!

Yes, long distance relationship is very hard and I don?t blame your boyfriend for this. Maybe when you?re a bit older you?ll be able to move with him and be together. For now, the most reasonable thing I suggest you to do is to have a time out.

Yeah, I guess I did! And the more I think about it, the more I "get" that this sort of aicdve is just what someone who is starting out wants because they wonder, "CAN I do all these things and homeschool?" But I guess my beef is, these are the sorts of questions one really ought to ask in the PLANNING stage of the game. Rathermuch like the "socialization" question. The question isn't so much whether homeschoolers are socialized or not, but how YOU will endeavour to socialize YOURS. :)
