BREAK UP TO GO TO DIFFERENT SCHOOLS

Hey Jesse Neo!

There's this guy that I've liked since kindergarten. We went out for a couple of months but then this other girl came into the picture and we broke up. He called me and said it wasn't because of her but because we were going to go to different middle schools. My friends says me and him could still had gone out because in a few years we will be going to the same high school. Who do you think is right?

Dear Confused Person,

Breaking up because you two are going to different schools is a common excuse to end relationships. One thing you must remember is being in love with someone means you are willing to commit your life to them, support them, stand up for them, and love them. You don't love someone because you see them everyday, or because their hot or whatever. You love them because you really care about them no matter what.

If the guy breaks up with the excuse due to distance, in my opinion he still doesn't love you as much as you think. If it was really true love, distance could not stand a chance to break you two up. One thing to remember is you don't need to be with the person you are dating all the time. This is only necessary when you're married. So yes, your friend is part right. You two should still could have dated and held onto your faith with each other. In my opinion, this guy isn't the one meant for you. You are still really young and there is still a whole life in front of you! Just wait a few years and the true love will sure to come! In the meantime, enjoy your time with friends, party, going to school, and life in general! You won't have this chance after a few years time, trust me!

If you would want more advice or hope to stay in contact with me, feel free to add me on MySpace and/or Facebook and/or Twitter! Just hit me up a message or comment anytime! I promise to reply to them all!

Best regards,
  -Jesse Neo
