Boy Won't Talk Because I Like Him

I am in grade five and I have this boy in my class that I have a huge crush on. We used to talk with each other until the whole class told him that I liked him. Now he won't talk to me. What must I do?

Dear Alex,

If you really care about him, you should continue to do so even if he rejects you. You may want to watch out for him, offer to help him when he needs help and try to be a good friend. Talk to him more often and ask about his day. Don't jump into love or feelings, but instead, use the time to get to know him. By doing so, he'll develop more feelings for you which may one day lead to love.

I really like this boy but i got my friends boyfriend to ask him out for me and he replyed may be then no but he knows now that i like him and will will be just orkward to make a convosation and i get really embaressed and i go red and i dont know what to do?
