The Vampires Assistance is from the award winning series of 13 books by Darren Shan. This particular movie forms the first three books, Cirque du Freak, The Vampires Assistance and Tunnels of Blood. The story sees a young boy, Darren Shan who lives a normal life until The Cirque du Freak comes to town, and after a series of events he has to become a vampire leaving behind his old life and joining the life of the vampire.
